We are expanding the KWSM team – could you be a good fit?
We’re looking for someone who is currently working as a journalist. If you are a professional storyteller – radio, TV, print, or online – and are interested in putting those skills to work in the world of social media, we’d like to talk.
We’re looking for someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable with all major social media outlets, possess a basic understanding of social media marketing best practices, and be willing and eager to learn.
To join our team, you will need strong research skills and news judgement, excellent telephone manners and the ability to wow our clients with your willingness to go the extra mile. Above all else, you must be one of those rare individuals who works hard, even when no one is watching, completes tasks efficiently, and only needs things explained once. Oh – and sometimes you will have to work nights and weekends. (Social media is not your typical 9-5 job.)
We are a unique social media agency made up of former journalists. We love telling our clients stories – and we have a lot of fun doing it. We are growing quickly, and there is unlimited potential to move up for the right person. We value teamwork and collaboration, and we’re looking for someone who wants to stick around and learn from and grow with us. (If you’re the type of person who’s always scanning Craigslist for a better opportunity, feel free to become our Facebook friend, but don’t attempt to work for us. Our hearts and souls are in this company, and we take it seriously. Our clients always come first.)
So, if you love research, writing, video, and building relationships through story as much as we do… we can’t wait to meet you. A great sense of humor, good organizational skills, and a mild case of smartphone addiction are all pluses in our book.
If this sounds like you, please apply by emailing your resume to email@example.com
(If it doesn’t sound like you… retweet, share, or post this on your LinkedIn profile anyway… social is all about sharing, right?)
